On January 7, the popular YouTuber, aged 28, shared jaw-dropping before and after photos of his fitness journey, proudly displaying his six-pack abs.
In an old photo from the beginning of his fitness journey, Dobrik appeared less toned, clad in black shorts. Fast forward to the present, he proudly displayed his muscular transformation, crediting his friends and especially Ilya for his incredible progress.
His caption read, “New year, new me, new vlog. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people around me that pushed me this year to be a better version of myself. I owe everything to all my friends and especially Ilya who has literally changed my life. I love ya dude. I don’t feel like pudding anymore!!!!”

Despite the evidence shared by Dobrik, some skeptics questioned the authenticity of his physical transformation.
“Why does it look photoshopped???” one individual questioned, while another reassured, “To everyone who didn’t watch the vlog it’s 100% real 😂.”
David Dobrik faced criticism following a video incident where his friend Jeff Wittek was severely injured.
The video depicted a wakeboarding mishap orchestrated by Dobrik, which led to Wittek sustaining serious injuries to his face and skull, necessitating surgical intervention.
